The fields are really happy this year with the moisture we received during the winter and the organic compost we applied to the fields in late winter.
First cutting came up beautifully in May. Local sales are good and semi loads have been hauled to the coast to feed stores and to Canada.
We have shut down the irrigation in preparation for 2nd cutting and will begin cutting in a few days.
