Every year a local family of geese comes into one of our fields. It’s been going on for years. When the weather is bad we feed them whole corn and they eat grass shoots in the fields. Normally they show up in December. This afternoon they flew in and landed in the field! Never have they shown up this early. Do you suppose they know something we don’t know about the weather?
