From the time we cut hay until the time it is safely in the barn we don’t wash any vehicles and we don’t kill any spiders. It’s a superstitious thing we have that either of those actions will make it rain. I proved it right yesterday. I washed my truck and killed a spider yesterday. It rained last night! Now I know for sure not to do either of those things when it’s hay cutting time! 🙂
