We use a bale scale to weigh our bales. It’s attached to the back of the baler, a bale exits the baling chamber onto the the scale before the next bale coming out of the baling chamber pushes it off the scale and it falls to the ground.
We needed to weigh some of our goats so we removed the bale scale from the baler, set it on a level surface and voila! a scale that was large enough for the goats to walk onto and be weighed accurately!
