It’s been a busy late winter and early spring here on the farm!
One of the maintenance chores every winter while the fields are sleeping is checking the pivot track depths. As the pivots move around the field the tires wear deeper tracks. We’ve filled the tracks that needed it with fresh gravel. This not only helps the pivots run smoothly it makes for a nicer ride in the equipment when we’re driving on the fields.
