During irrigation season the pivots move around the fields on rubber tires. With our sandy loam soil the wheels end up creating ruts. When the ground freezes in the winter we hook our Oteco track filler to a tractor, load it with gravel and fill in any ruts that have become a problem. It makes working in the fields so much nicer!
